The Out of Tune side quest becomes available midway through the main campaign of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Completing it rewards you with a faction strength boost with the Shadow Dragons. Here’s a guide to help you navigate the Dock Town quest and gain these valuable rewards.
Out of Tune Quest, Finding the Buskers in
After finishing The Siege of Weisshaupt, check the southern Dock Town noticeboard for this quest. Make sure you’ve completed Neve’s The Cobbled Swan companion quest. To begin, head down to the Cobbled Swan Bar near the southern docks. Look for a table full of wine glasses, inspect it, then head outside to follow a trail of spilled wine and blood down to the docks. Investigate the instrument there and read the note.
Your next destination is the Lookout to the north. Use the nearby fast-travel beacon to save time. Inspect the fire pit, descend the rocks, and find a body in a cave. Another note there will point you to the rooftops; teleport over or follow the quest markers.
Once you arrive, handle the Venatoi group waiting for you, then jump across to the garden area. Inside, speak with the man at the bar, who will direct you to the buskers. Follow the quest marker to find Lex. Completing the quest earns you a new light helm, 100 Shadow Dragons Strength, and increases the bond with your party members.
