Be careful that you can't put a close range in the second row because it can't engage with the enemy, but a medium range or long range can attack its target from the second row.

Each hero has its own status, and you should arrange your team according to these specifications. For example, a mage needs more mana than a fighter.
Heroes attack turn and time
The point that is very important in fighting is the turn and time of movement and attack of the heroes. This is shown by the speed in the status section of each hero, and the higher the number, the longer its attack time. During the battles at the top of the page, you can see the turn of attacks of internal and enemy forces and plan your type of attack with it.
In your time, in addition to physical and magical attacks, you can make other choices, including using items and potions, going into defensive mode, dodging, or taking a trench.
Attack types in Eiyuden Chronicle
Each hero in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes can perform three general types of attacks.
