A new patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 went live today, November 1, implementing important adjustments and fixes across multiplayer and Zombies modes.In multiplayer, the update resolves a bug causing a black screen when loading into matches. Additionally, the Lowtown map has been removed from the Infected playlist, and Free-for-All scoring was corrected to properly reward points for eliminations instead of total score.The Omni-movement system saw refinements too, with a fix in Search & Destroy mode that now prevents players from sliding excessively when defusing or planting the bomb. Players, however, are expected to continue finding creative ways to utilize Omni-movement.

Ubisoft has reportedly declined expansion and sequel proposals for Prince of Persia The Lost Crown by Ubisoft Montpellier, before disbanding the team and reassigning its members to different projects.This information comes from Gautoz, a French journalist known for his reports on Ubisoft, particularly Ubisoft Montpellier. A translated summary of his 30-minute video was shared by Arubedo on ResetEra. According to Gautoz, despite critical acclaim, Ubisoft gave up on The Lost Crown shortly after its release due to poor sales. Ubisoft executives rejected pitches for expansions or a sequel, believing that another release would hinder long-term sales of the original game. Consequently, the development team was redirected to projects that Ubisoft anticipated would have better commercial success.

As the release date approaches, Activision and Treyarch have officially revealed the complete list of multiplayer maps and modes that will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25. Players can expect a mix of fresh content alongside returning fan-favorite modes like Gunfight and Kill Confirmed.Throughout August and September, fans got a taste of what's to come during the early access and open betas. The betas only featured eight maps and a limited selection of weapons, gear, and Wildcards.
