Fighting Vinca: Boss Guide
Before the Battle of Brother’s Mercy Quest
There’s no dungeon to explore for the Brother’s Mercy Quest. The fight begins shortly after speaking with Basilio, and he is a mandatory party member for the encounter. Equip him with strong gear, particularly if you haven’t been using him in your lineup. Basilio is likely in a physical-based Archetype, so prepare buffs and debuffs to complement his playstyle.
Vinca’s Resistances and Weaknesses
- Physical Resistance: Vinca resists all types of physical damage.
- Elemental Neutrality: No elemental weaknesses or resistances.
- To gain extra Turn Icons, exploit one-time elemental weaknesses with your skills.
Vinca’s Abilities
- Earsplitting Shriek: Inflicts Daze on the entire party, significantly reducing accuracy. Ensure you have a way to cleanse this status effect.
- Hellbound: A single-target physical attack, manageable with proper healing.
- Slam Shatter: Deals physical damage to all party members. Keep a healer ready to mitigate this.
To counter Vinca’s attacks, raise your defense using abilities like:
