How to Start the Mercenary Intent Quest
After finishing the Fire and Ice main quest, return to the Lighthouse and speak with Neve to complete her companion quest, A Clear Mind. Once done, head to the Smuggler’s Dock, where you’ll encounter a group of enemies. Defeating them will initiate the Mercenary Intent quest, tasking you with investigating mercenary activities.
Step 1: Find the First Clue for Mercenary Intent Quest
Your first stop is the Venatori Warehouse, located north of the docks. Inside, collect the following:
- "A Notice" Note: Pinned to a wooden beam on the first floor.
- Scribbled Note: Found in the room to the left on the second floor.
- Hastily Replied Letter: Found in the room to the right on the second floor.
After gathering all three clues, leave the warehouse and proceed southeast to Low Tide Beach, passing a wooden shack. Here, you’ll encounter another group of enemies.
