In Metaphor: ReFantazio, many trophies and achievements require completing specific tasks, some of which you’ll likely do naturally. For Science! is one such achievement, asking you to perform a "Special Experiment," which becomes available only after recruiting Junah to your party.
Unlocking Special Experiments
Once Junah, whose base Archetype is the unique Masked Dancer, joins your party, the Special Experiment option will appear at More’s place. This class enables her to equip special Masks in the accessory slot, granting her skills from the Archetype associated with each Mask. To craft these Masks, you’ll need specific items that drop from enemies or can be bought from a particular merchant.
Shortly before Junah joins, you may start encountering Masks as loot from certain monsters. These Masks are essential crafting materials for the wearable versions, so collect as many as possible. Additionally, you can purchase some Masks from a merchant in Brilehaven, accessible after reaching Virga Island. There, you can buy the necessary info from the Informant to unlock the Eugief merchant on Seabreeze Street, who sells medicinal herbs.
These Masks are pricey, costing 25,000 Reeves each. The merchant offers different Masks depending on the day of the week, excluding Idlesday, when he sells cooking ingredients.
