In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Loyal Friends Quest Guide, once Lucanis joins your team after finishing the main quest "Sea of Blood," you can return to Arlathan Forest to begin the "Loyal Friends" quest. Follow these steps to complete the quest and increase your faction standing with the Veil Jumpers.
Starting Location for Loyal Friends Quest
o start "Loyal Friends Quest," go to the Veil Jumper camp and set out to find two missing Veil Jumpers by exploring the forest. If you’ve previously completed side quests in the area, use your map to fast-travel as close as possible to the quest marker.
You’ll be heading to an entryway that was previously locked if you visited Arlathan before Lucanis joined your party, but it should be open now. Go through and clear the Blight along the path. In the next area, you’ll encounter multiple Blight spots. Start by clearing the Blight on the ground floor, then use Harding’s ability to lift the rocks and climb to the platform to hit the second spot. Use your bow to destroy the third Blight and continue through the next area.
Clear the Blight blocking your path and descend the ladder to face a mini-boss: an infected Taynore. This fight doesn’t have any particular complexities, so focus on taking down Taynore. Afterward, search around the rocks to find an interactive Nug. It’s time to bring Gus back home. Fast-travel to the Veil Jumper Camp and place Gus in his cage to complete the quest, earning 100 Veil Jumper Strength, a Nug Carving, and a bond boost with the characters in your party.
