You can find the Tiger Vanguard in Chapter 2 at the Crouching Tiger Temple above the stairs.

How to defeat Tiger Vanguard

Don't be happy if you survive it because the boss can continue his attacks with 3 more hits, so don't let your guard down.

Stance Combo
Type of attack: In this attack, Tiger Vanguard usually takes a martial arts figure and attacks you with an attack consisting of 4 hits in a row. The boss starts his attacks with a kick and then attacks you with two fists, for the last attack he jumps in the air and hits the ground hard with his two fists.

Tackle Into Smash
Type of attack: This attack by Tiger Vanguard starts with a tackle towards you and then he jumps into the air and attacks you with his fist.

Quick Slash
Type of attack: This is an attack for when you are away from the boss. He grabs his sword and stands in position, then throws very fast strikes in a specific direction that can deal damage within a distance of you.
counter attack: The further you are from the boss, the less likely you are to dodge. Whenever you see Tiger Vanguard start swinging his sword you should start dodging. Just keep in mind that the boss may also use this attack at close range.
Rock Solid
Type of attack: In this state, the leader stands on all fours and turns into a stone. Be careful that your attacks in this mode will cause your guard to open and the boss will severely damage you with a strong punch after coming out of the stone state.
counter attack: You should avoid small attacks on the boss in this mode and hit him with a charged heavy attack to get out of his stone form.
Rock Solid (Teleportation)
Type of attack: This time, Tiger Vanguard turns into stone again, but the difference from the normal state is that it disappears when you say something, and then it appears in another place and attacks you fast and hard. you have cut it in half and it can cause severe damage to you.
counter attack: Wait for the boss to appear again, at this moment you have to quickly dodge, just be careful because after this attack the boss will attack you again with another Quick Slash.
Blood Tornado
Type of attack: Tiger Vanguard grabs his sword and creates a whirlwind of blood and throws it at you. Be careful, it may create a tornado.
counter attack: Timing is very important for dodging in this attack. Because these tornadoes are chasing you, you have to dodge just when they want to hit you.
Blood Slashes
Type of attack: This attack is done right after Blood Tornado. In this attack, the boss throws projectiles at you with 3 slashes.
