Basement Boiler Room Puzzle Walkthrough
Just to the right of the main briefing room is a hallway with a door immediately on the right. Go through it and head downstairs to reach a room with a large table. Move through to the right and into the boiler room. On the table beside the boiler, there’s a note explaining the boiler puzzle solution.
To stop the leak and complete the puzzle, press the buttons in this order:
- Press Boiler twice (to fully close and stop the leak)
- Press Fuel once (to halfway)
- Press Pilot once
- Press Boiler twice (to full open)
If completed correctly, the pilot light will glow green, signaling success.
The Piano Puzzle Walkthrough
To find the piano puzzle, enter the room to the left of the briefing room, where you’ll see a piano and a blacklight tool on a nearby table. Pick up the blacklight, as you’ll need it to identify the key sequence around the room. Five specific piano keys need pressing in a particular sequence. Use the blacklight to reveal the order with arrows directing you to the next key.
The marked sequence is:
- Mn
- Pe
- Cn
- Ao
- Pe
Under the blacklight, each piano key corresponds to two letters. Press them in the order found on the walls, following the sequence: 5-4-2-3-4.
Keypad Puzzle Walkthrough
After completing the piano puzzle, a hidden door to the right opens, leading to a staircase down to a basement. At the hallway fork, turn right to see a door with a keypad. Using the blacklight, identify fingerprints left on specific keys. Enter a sequence based on the prints, and the decryption log will highlight each correct placement in green. Numbers in yellow mean they’re included in the code but misplaced.

Computer Hack Puzzle Solution
Upon entering the room past the keypad, head to the computer in the back corner to hack it. You’ll need to solve three code words by matching letters to the provided code digits. The solutions are:
- BUNKER
- HOLDING
- ROOM
- OPEN
Lockpick Puzzle Walkthrough
After completing the computer hack, exit the room and turn right. At the hallway’s end, take the door on the left, then proceed straight to find another door with a lock you can pick. Slowly adjust the lockpick until it glows white, then hold it in place until you hear a click. Repeat twice more to open the door. Inside, you’ll find a table with a key on it—grab the key and leave the room.
Radio Signal for the Rook Safe Code
After exiting the lockpick room, head back down the hallway. At the fork, make a right and continue until you find a door on the left. Use the key to unlock it. Inside, look for a radio on a bookshelf, identified by a signal strength icon. Interact with it, adjusting the frequency and amplitude knobs until the wavelengths match.
Once synchronized, a recording will play, and using a blacklight, you’ll see numbers painted on various objects around the room. For example, if you hear a recording about a rocket launch and ironing clothes, look for:
- Record (5)
- Rocket (0)
- Film (2)
- Ironing Board (4)
This gives a safe code of: 5024.
Safe Location and Rewards
With the code in hand, go back upstairs to the main Rook briefing room. Pass the basement hallway to reach the stairs leading to the second floor. At the top, make a quick turn and head down the hall, with the railing on your right. At the hall’s end, enter the door on your right, then proceed through the next immediate door to your right. In the back right corner, near the bed, you’ll find the safe. Enter your combination to unlock:
