In A Shroud Over the Light Quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, this side mission becomes accessible only if you make a particular choice during the main storyline. If you've completed "A Warden's Best Friend" and don’t see it listed in Treviso, the quest won’t be available. Finding the Venatori
Upon returning to Dock Town and attempting to enter the Shadow Dragons’ Sanctum, you’ll face an enemy ambush, initiating the quest. Begin by searching the Pawn Shop for a note directing you to the market. Head east along the quest marker to your next location. In the market, check behind barrels on the southern wall to find another note, then climb a ladder and follow the marker east to reach the Dockside Jail.
At the jail, dispatch a small Venatori group and inspect one of their bodies. Afterward, speak with the man who appears, then head swiftly to the docks. Using a fast travel beacon can save time. Once there, you’ll find a crystal barrier. Start dismantling the three crystals shielding the main one while fighting off more Venatori. After they’re defeated, continue destroying the crystals to gain access to the building.
Enter, examine the bodies within, and complete the quest, gaining a bond boost with your current party members.
