Looking for a quick and easy way to complete The Wasteland Courier quest in Avowed? This guide breaks it all down so you can get in, grab your loot, and move on without unnecessary detours.
How to Start The Wasteland Courier Quest
You’ll pick up this side quest in Thirdborn after chatting with a shady-looking merchant who seems way too nervous. He asks you to retrieve a package but refuses to spill the details about what’s inside. To keep things secret, he doesn’t even tell you where to go—just follow a series of white arrows. The first one? Right next to him.

Now, here’s the thing: You don’t actually need to follow the arrows. There’s no special reward for sticking to the path, and the journey itself isn’t all that exciting just a few random fights. If you’d rather skip the chase, you can head straight to the package’s location.
What’s Up with the White Arrows in Shatterscarp?

You might have already seen these white arrows scattered across the map before picking up the quest. They’re spaced out enough that they don’t seem to lead anywhere, so following them can feel like a wild goose chase. If you've been wondering about their purpose, they’re tied to The Wasteland Courier quest—but honestly, they’re not that important.
How to Find the Graffiti for Wasteland Courier Quest (Your Key Landmark)

Your quest log will tell you to find the graffiti, which is a big clue that you’re getting close. The graffiti is located at the end of the arrow trail, written on a stone pillar. To get there, head to the Deadfall Highlands cave. On the in-game map, it’s positioned directly above the ‘d’ in Highlands.
Look for an arrow pointing up a ramp.
Follow the ramp to a cave entrance.
Inside, you’ll find a curved stone walkway leading to a wooden barrier.
Smash the barrier and prepare to fight some Crystal Eater Spiderlings. Four will attack first, then two more show up.
After taking them out, jump over the chasm ahead, and you’ll finally reach the graffiti.
But wait, you’re not done yet!
How to Get Down the Gorge

Once you reach the graffiti, head left and climb up the next cliff section. You’ll spot more graffiti and get a clear view of the gorge where your destination lies.
The bad news? The cliff is too steep to jump or slide down. The good news? The wooden floor near the graffiti is breakable! Attack it, drop down, and you’re in.
As soon as you land, more Crystal Eater Spiderlings will swarm you. Take them out.
Keep pushing forward through the area, defeating a few more enemies.
At the back-left of the arena, climb up the raised ledge.
Run along the path and jump through an opening on the right.
This leads to Aiko’s Campsite, where the quest reaches its final stage.
Should You Take the Drugs from the Packagein Wasteland Courier quest?

When you meet Aiko, he’s in bad shape after a spider bite. During the conversation, he’ll ask for 500cp, but whether you give it to him or not doesn’t really matter—he’s doomed either way.
As for the package itself, Yatzli might suggest taking the drugs, but nothing major happens if you do. It’s entirely up to you whether you want to keep them or not.
Who Should You Give the Package To? Daiko or the Tira Nui?
Once you have the package, you have two options:
Return it to Daiko (the merchant who sent you on this mission).
Hand it over to the Tira Nui (a faction you might not have met yet).
Here’s what you get for each choice:
Delivering to Tira Nui – If you go this route, head to the bounty board and speak to the person there. In return, you’ll receive the Thirdborn Tira Nui Badge, which grants +2 Might when equipped.
Returning to Daiko – If you bring the package back to Daiko, he doesn’t care if you opened it or not. He’ll reward you with a Poisoner’s Kit, which boosts your weapons with +5% Poison Damage.

Both rewards are useful, but the Poisoner’s Kit is more situational. If you’re role-playing as a less morally strict character, returning to Daiko might feel like the better move. If you want to be a good citizen, go with Tira Nui.
