To get your hands on the Chainsaw, you'll need to complete the game at least once and start a New Game+. Early in this second playthrough, after your encounter with Angela in the Graveyard, you'll make your way towards the Silent Hill Ranch. Just past the sign marking the ranch, on the right-hand side, you’ll spot a Chainsaw embedded in a pile of wooden logs. The distinct sound of it whirring will alert you to its presence, making it hard to miss. Once you interact with it, the Chainsaw becomes available for use throughout the rest of your New Game+ journey, giving you a formidable tool for taking down enemies.
