ZOTAC Introduces GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Graphics Cards with AD102-175 Chips
ZOTAC has announced its latest GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards featuring the AD102 GPU chip. According to released details, these cards utilize a lower-spec AD102-175 chip with fewer GDDR6X modules. Both models share the same cooling system.
Specifications of ZOTAC’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (AD102)
If priced competitively, buyers can access higher-spec models designed for maximum power draw above 450 watts, although the GPU itself only requires 285 watts. This setup allows gamers more headroom for overclocking and a quieter performance.
These graphics cards feature a larger cooling system, with a thickness of around 3 to 3.5 slots. This design may not appeal to everyone, as some users may find the larger form factor challenging. Previously, ZOTAC had introduced its 4070 Ti SUPER cards with the AD102 chip under the SOLID brand, known for its rectangular design. This version differs from the AMP/TRINITY line of RTX 40 cards.
Today, ZOTAC introduced two new RTX 4070 Ti SUPER cards with AD102 chips, both inspired by RTX 4090 designs but distinct from the SUPER SOLID line.
The new models, PGF OC and AMP EXTREME, feature aerodynamic designs in black and white color schemes. They are slimmer than the SUPER SOLID variant, with a 3-slot design (versus the SUPER SOLID’s 3.5 slots) but still use a larger cooling solution.
GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Technical Details
Both cards are equipped with the AD102-175 GPU, featuring 8,448 active CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR6X memory on a 256-bit bus. Their power consumption is capped at 285 watts, with a single 16-pin power connector.
Most 4070 Ti SUPER cards come with adapters that connect two 8-pin connectors and one 16-pin connector. However, these new graphics cards include a unique adapter that connects three 8-pin connectors to one 16-pin connector, although two 8-pin cables are sufficient for the 285-watt requirement.
RTX 4070 Ti SUPER PGF OC Version
- Boost Clock: 2670 MHz
- Max Power: 285W
- Dimensions: 38.1 x 15.4 x 7.4 cm
RTX 4070 Ti SUPER AMP EXTREME Version
- Boost Clock: 2640 MHz
- Max Power: 285W
- Dimensions: 35.6 x 15 x 7.15 cm
Interestingly, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER PGF OC, with a length of 38.1 cm, is one of the largest graphics cards available and is notably longer than the SUPER SOLID version by 5 cm.
Both cards are currently exclusive to the Chinese market, with limited information available on availability and pricing.
