Xbox Game Pass Adds Two More Day-One Games for 2025
Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its lineup, with two more games confirmed as day-one releases for 2025. One of the biggest perks of Game Pass is getting access to brand-new games without needing to buy them separately. For dedicated gamers, the service practically pays for itself by offering multiple day-one releases every month.

So far, 2025 has already delivered some major Game Pass titles. January wrapped up with Sniper Elite: Resistance, Eternal Strands, and Citizen Sleeper 2—the latter standing out as one of the year’s top-rated releases. February’s highlight is Avowed, arriving on February 18, followed by Atomfall on March 27, South of Midnight on April 8, and Doom: The Dark Ages on May 15.
Two More Day-One Titles Join Game Pass
Now, Xbox has confirmed that Blue Prince and Abiotic Factor both previously announced for PS Plus Extra will also be day-one additions to Xbox Game Pass.
- Blue Prince is a first-person puzzle game set to launch in Spring 2025.
- Abiotic Factor is a co-op survival game for up to six players, scheduled for Summer 2025.

Here’s a quick look at the confirmed day-one Game Pass games coming this year:
- Avowed – February 18
- Atomfall – March 27
- South of Midnight – April 8

- Ninja Gaiden 4 – Fall 2025

One of the biggest surprises from the recent Xbox Developer Direct was the announcement of Ninja Gaiden 4, set to launch in Fall 2025. The hype around this title makes it one of the most anticipated day-one releases on Game Pass this year.
Beyond these, there are still more major titles expected in 2025, including the long-awaited Fable reboot from Playground Games and the dark, Soulslike action RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. If everything stays on schedule, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the strongest years for Xbox Game Pass yet.
