What’s the Solution to the Witness Room Generator Puzzle in Silent Hill 2?
When you enter the Witness Room in the Death Row / 1F Serpent Section, you’ll need to activate a Generator to continue. The generator will indicate three levels: the green "maintenance level," the yellow "optimal level," and the red "danger level." To unlock the Death Chamber, you need to push the generator’s dial into the red zone by flipping the switches in the correct sequence.
Switch Order:
Assuming all switches are initially pointing down, flip them in this specific order:
2nd, 5th, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 4th, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 5th, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 2nd
Once you’ve followed this sequence, the dial should land in the red zone. Pull the lever to overload the Generator, which will unlock the door to the Death Chamber, allowing you to progress further in the game.
