Published by M.D at August 27, 2026

Today I'm gonna do a completely unbiased Star Wars Zero Company Review and go over the strong and weak points of this game, and see if this is really the game we were impatiently waiting for. Star Wars Zero Company, made by Bit Reactor studio, is a strategy and tactics game, and according to critics we should expect a real surprise. Follow along with me in this game review as I go over different sides of Star Wars Zero Company.

Checking out the gameplay of Star Wars Zero Company

The most important part I'm covering in this Star Wars Zero Company Review is the gameplay, which is honestly the best part of this game. Star Wars Zero Company's style is classic turn-based tactics, so if you're a fan of these kinds of games you can connect with it real fast and get a nice comfortable feeling from it.

You start the game with a few simple classes, and over time you run into new and more complex classes that get added to your team. What makes the game more interesting is the Jewel Specializations system, where you can combine two different classes together, and this makes the team you build a lot more varied.

1 Star Wars Zero Company Review

What are the good points of the gameplay?

    1. The characters' movements and attacks are really smooth, and the animations don't slow the game down, and this can give you an exciting feeling.
    2. The high variety of classes in the Star Wars Zero Company can create some interesting and cool abilities.
    3. The voice acting, music, and the overall atmosphere of the game completely pulls you into the Star Wars movies.

The negative points of Star Wars Zero Company's gameplay

    1. The Combat Stim stuff that gets applied to every team member at the start of every mission gets tiring over time.
    2. Low variety of missions and them getting repetitive.

    Companions and character relationships

Next in this Star Wars Zero Company Review, I'm gonna cover the companions and the relationships you build with them. At first I thought these relationships between the player and companions, and the stories behind them, would be way deeper and more interesting, but as I went on I realized that building up your relationship with companions basically just comes down to small rewards and not-so-important items, and you don't really see anything like achievements or Romance Options systems in it. This really shows, especially with some of the more likeable characters.

    The game's storyline

2 Star Wars Zero Company Review

An interesting thing I gotta point out in this Star Wars Zero Company Review is that the storyline focuses on new Non-Force Users characters, not the same old traditional characters. This means you get new, fresh stories, which gives the game a real sense of freshness.

You play as Hawks, a former Republic officer who's the commander of the Zero Company squad. In the game, you and your team have to deal with threats from Infinite Coil, which has its own interesting parts and challenges, but I'll avoid mentioning them so I don't spoil anything.

Overall, if I wanna give my opinion on the game's story, I'd say the story is one of the big surprises of Star Wars Zero Company.

Checking out the different difficulty levels

3 Star Wars Zero Company Review

If I had to give one criticism of Star Wars Zero Company, it would be that the difficulty balance isn't great, especially on Normal. When you play on Normal difficulty, after you reach the middle of the game and unlock the Jewel Specializations ability, your team gets so strong that you basically stop taking damage and wipe out every enemy fast.

If this is boring and frustrating for you, there's a quick fix. The game lets you change your difficulty level at any point in the game, and make it harder or easier if you need to. In this Star Wars Zero Company Review, I suggest that if you're familiar with this style of game and have good experience, start the game on Hard or even Expert difficulty.

Hardware performance and final thoughts on Star Wars Zero Company Review

If you have a powerful gaming system, like an RTX 4080 and Ryzen 9 9950XT, you get a smooth gameplay experience on PC, but there are still some small issues, like skins taking a while to load or occasional crashes.

At the end of the day, if I wanna give my final opinion in this Star Wars Zero Company Review, I'd say you're looking at a valuable and different gaming experience, especially in the story department. Though it could still use some small updates or DLC to polish it up.
