Nintendo Delays Alarmo’s Public Release: Here’s Everything You Should Know
Nintendo has officially delayed the public launch of its highly anticipated Sound Clock: Alarmo, an alarm clock featuring nostalgic sounds from beloved games like Mario and Zelda. Originally slated for a January release, Alarmo will remain exclusive to Nintendo Switch Online members until "early" March.
In a social media post, Nintendo confirmed that Alarmo would then be sold in select countries, though specific regions have not been disclosed. Production and inventory issues, first mentioned during its Japan launch delay in December, continue to impact its availability.

Alarmo retails for £90 in the UK, but concerns about its value persist. Despite its charm, some critics, including Tom at Eurogamer, have expressed reservations. "It feels like Alarmo has untapped potential," they noted, emphasizing its simplicity and novelty but questioning its high price.
For now, Nintendo fans may need to wait a little longer to add this unique gadget to their Nintendo collection.
