Get the 7 Hidden Items in Phantom Blade Zero easily.
In Phantom Blade Zero, you can't get the best and strongest weapons easily through the main story—you gotta search hidden spots and go through different steps for them. Today I'm gonna introduce the 7 Hidden Items in Phantom Blade Zero, tell you how to get them, and where to search. Some items you can get later in New Game Plus, but some, like Fiend Saws, you can't get again if you miss them.

Note: Some of these items are Accessories, and you can use them to boost damage or reduce incoming damage without swapping weapons.
Shenji's Ring

The first item I'm covering in the 7 Hidden Items in Phantom Blade Zero is the defensive item Shenji's Ring. This item reduces your Sha-Chi consumption by 20% when you block an enemy attack, and you can upgrade that to 30%. If you haven't mastered Parrying yet, it can be really useful for you.
Where to find Shenji's Ring in Phantom Blade Zero
To find Shenji's Ring, after moving forward in Weeping Creek Valley, go to the Outpost Bell. After the bridge, you'll reach the Mask Walkers—kill them, then go to the top of the building and next to the cliff, break the chains with the Dread Axe and enter the cave. At the end of the cave, you'll find a chest with Shenji's Ring inside.
Note: In the cave, you can also find Four Fierce Axes.
Brass Chest Guard

Another hidden item you can find in Phantom Blade Zero is the Brass Chest Guard, which is also a defensive item. This accessory reduces energy consumption by 30% while you're in Guard Stance, and upgrading it can push that efficiency to 90%.
Where is the Brass Chest Guard?
To get the Brass Chest Guard, you gotta go to the Thieves' Camp Dungeon in Crimson Forest. Of course, you need a key, which you can get from Cliffside Lodge. To reach this item, you gotta go through a corridor with traps that shoot arrows. I suggest getting through this path by summoning the Phantom Edge called Bastion.
Note: Bastion can absorb the arrows, and you can get it after defeating Zhuo Bi in Village of Lu.
Crimson Resolve

The next hidden item you should get is Crimson Resolve, which can increase damage by up to 35%. It works like this: it activates after two consecutive hits, and for a few seconds you deal more damage to the enemy.
| Level | Damage Increase | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 15% | 2 seconds |
| +1 | 25% | 2 seconds |
| +2 | 35% | 2 seconds |
How do we get the hidden item Crimson Resolve?
You can get the Crimson Resolve item in the Young Master Lan mission. For this, in Village of Lu, near Old Man Gen's hideout, talk to an NPC named Lan and help him open the path to Pangzhen by clearing the Smuggler's Tunnel. After that, you can see him again at the Pavilion of Knowledge Crossroads. He gives you the Lan Manor Key. Now you gotta Rest, then return to the manor and after a fight, you can open the door.
Note: If you use fast weapons like Fiend Saws and Shadowless Edge, Crimson Resolve can be really useful for you. If you wanna know more about the best weapons you can use, I suggest checking out the Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List.
Fiend Saws, don't miss this item
Note: Before I go over this item's abilities and tell you how to get it, I gotta warn you that you can lose this Hidden Items in Phantom Blade Zero forever.
The hidden item Fiend Saws is actually a dual-blade weapon that, in Power Surge mode, can land unblockable hits on the enemy for 10 seconds.
Getting Fiend Saws
Important: To get Fiend Saws, you gotta finish the Young Mistress mission before you fight Mu Xiaokui in Village of Lu. If you don't, you'll lose this amazing weapon, and to get another chance, you'll have to wait until New Game Plus.
Finishing the Young Mistress mission and Ribbon locations
To do the Young Mistress mission, you gotta find 5 colored Ribbons.
| # | Location | How to find it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Well of the Three Puppets | You can find this Ribbon on a tree on the right side of the wooden bridge near the well. |
| 2 | Temple of Blue Fireflies | You can find this Ribbon near the temple Bell. Right there, talk to the Songstress Puppet and take a separate mission from her to get another accessory. |
| 3 | Covered Bridge | You can find this Ribbon on the other side of the covered bridge in the middle of the village. |
| 4 | The Lady Grounds | After defeating Master Bi Yuan, go to the Crane Bell structure and search there. |
| 5 | Beneath the Well | To get this Ribbon, jump into the Well of the Three Puppets, go toward the Bell, then immediately turn left. You'll find it next to the Brazier. |
Note: To get the Covered Bridge Ribbon, you gotta destroy the Red Threads. Also, by killing Mu Xiaokui's two bodyguards, you can get Fiend Saws and Fist Fragment: Core.
Note: Before leaving this area, go to the end of the dock where you can get the Wild Oriole Sword.
Battleforged

The Battleforged item makes it so that after not taking a hit for 10 seconds, the next hit doesn't affect you. Upgrading this item can bring the time down to 6 seconds.
Where is the Battleforged item in Phantom Blade Zero?
You can get the Battleforged item at Meigu Lake. For this, start from the Pangzhen Docks Bell—keep in mind you shouldn't get on a boat. Go to the left of the boat and pass all the platforms, then go up the ramp and enter the building. Here, climbing up the ladder, you can find a chest with Battleforged inside.
Blazing Edge and Freezing Chaos weapons
The last items I'm covering in the 7 Hidden Items in Phantom Blade Zero are two weapons tied together by one mission—basically, one is the prerequisite for the other. In the Aberrant Three-Faced Puppet mission, you first gotta craft Blazing Edge, then go for Freezing Chaos.
How to get Blazing Edge

The Blazing Edge weapon is actually the Sanguine Reach weapon upgraded through Soul Tempering into its fiery version, turning its attacks into fire. To craft Blazing Edge, you need two materials:
- Scorching Flame: You can get this from the Zhu Yuan Boss at Pangzhen Sha-Chi Tower.
- Flaming Grip: You can get this by completing the Lóng Pillar challenge at Meigu Lake.
By Soul Tempering Sanguine Reach with both materials, you can get Blazing Edge.
Getting Freezing Chaos
The Freezing Chaos weapon is an all-rounder. With Steel, you can land heavy Guard Break hits. With Frost, you can chill and freeze your enemy. And with Chaos, you can do long-range fire attacks.
Steps to get Freezing Chaos
- Your mission starts by entering Mirage Estate in Pangzhen.
- You gotta get three Memory Flowers. The first is next to the Training Grounds Bell, the second is next to the altar (you can get it after the fight with Crimson Boneblade), and the third you can find in Leng Tu's Study on the second floor.
- Now you gotta return to Crimson Forest—just keep in mind it needs to be snowing there. If it's not, progress the story and come back.
- Go to the Threadbound Great Tree and fight Yucong.
- After winning the fight, you can get Freezing Chaos.
Note: Before the fight, definitely equip yourself with Blazing Edge. This way, you can also get Chaos Iron Fragment II, which is needed to craft Chaos Twin Daggers.
