Dominate the Meta: The Top 10 Guns in Battlefield 6 According to Us
Battlefield 6, of course, has quite an arsenal—the various mighty and reliable guns. Yet, most of the players game with the ones immediately available to them, the common options—shoutouts to the M4A1, the M277, or the M433, which most of you have probably seen or run. However, a seriously great number of actually overpowered weapons come unlocked later in the menu or get overlooked, hard. Here is our bespoke list of the Top 10 Guns in Battlefield 6 that are currently flying under the radar and absolutely worth the investment to unlock and upgrade.

Unstoppable Assault Rifles and SMGs, The Unsung Hero
1. KORD-6P67 (Assault Rifle)

We turn our attention to the first weapon featured on our list of the Top 10 Guns in Battlefield 6. While this weapon's look is rather simple and subtle, don't be fooled: with this beast of an unlock at Rank 23 and the necessity to complete the Rapid Fire I challenge, it really takes the cake.
Stats Overview: It has a somewhat low damage profile of 20, but with an excellent ROF and decent magazine size to offset this; its precision and control to handle recoil are very high.
Performance: The Kord-6P67 is a straight-up laser beam at practically all ranges of engagement. For the fact that it's so stable, players can easily clear multiple targets with one magazine of 30 rounds, thus making it very reliable and strong for general use—no wonder more players should be using it.
2. PW-5A3 (SMG - The Classic MP5)

While the Sg-X SMG is undeniably solid and amazing, the MP5 is classic for a reason: it's simply better at close-to-medium range.
Key Advantage: The stability and the accuracy of this SMG are really unbelievable, considering its class. It has a bit higher velocity compared to the Sg-X, while having a slightly lower ROF.
The Laser Beam Effect: Well, this gun shows minimal deviation, or bloom, in the Firing Range and can extend even to the far back; in a game where high bloom is penalizing many weapons, finding a gun that maintains such accuracy and low recoil—even an SMG—is crucial. The PW-5A3 absolutely shreds enemies because you actually hit where you are aiming.
3. SCW-10 (SMG)
It is a very, very unique playstyle but its raw TTK is—arguably—outside of shotguns—the best in the game.
High Risk, High Reward: It has a crazy damage of 33—a 3-shot kill at close range—and a very high rate of fire at 800 RPM. However, its base magazine size is a paltry 15 rounds, really demanding exceptional trigger discipline.
Attachment Fix: When the larger magazines—20 or 25 rounds—come online at levels 22 and 27, respectively, this gun starts to become great. The larger capacity combined with its damage profile makes it an incredibly strong SMG, easily capable of deleting targets rapidly. It is unlocked via the Close Quarters II challenge.
The Top 10 Guns in Battlefield 6 for Range and Utility: Shotguns, LMGs, and DMRs
4. M-1014 (Shotgun)

Shotguns did receive a bit of a nerf after beta, but they are still phenomenally good. Many people stick to the default M-77A1, but the M-1014 that's unlocked at Rank 42 is a beast.
Semi-Auto Fire: It works really well as a semi-automatic, allowing you to get more shots out than a pump-action a lot faster.
Lethal Power: Although with slightly lower basic damage, it still provides one-shot kills at close range. Its fast fire rate makes killing a whole room or several close targets child's play.
5. M-250 (LMG)

A lot of LMGs are underrated right now, but the M-250 is truly a monster in combat.
Stability and Bloom Control: This LMG has very little, if any, bullet deviation even when sustained firing through the entire 50-round magazine. In fact, this is the good bloom control that makes it superior compared with many high-recoil Assault Rifles.
Firepower: Although the damage is just decent, 25 with good bullet velocity allows the ability to lay down pretty sustained and accurate fire on entire squads, making this LMG really effective and fun.
6. SVK-8.6 (DMR)
The SVK-8.6 is the definition of a DMR for medium to long-range engagements, tactical tap-firing by players.
Unique Sibling Damage: It has the highest single-shot damage among all DMRs, at 66 damage per bullet.
Lethality: That means it's consistently a two-shot kill to most players at substantial distances. If a foe's already taken minimal damage it turns into more of a one-shot kill. Unlocked at Rank 33, this is a direct, measurable upgrade over the popular AM-39 DMR.
Other Specialized Guns & Honorable Mentions
7. SG-553 (Carbine)

The last carbine that one can unlock is the SG-553. This weapon in the franchise is pretty classic but still decent in Battlefield 6.
Performance: It offers a good balance of damage—33, and the rate of fire is 720 RPM. Though its recoil can be a bit noticeable, its bloom is very low compared with others, and that is what matters for accuracy. This makes it a solid, reliable medium-range all-rounder.
8. M4A1 Hip Fire Build

M4A1 isn't the most exotic, but this loadout completely flips the gun's purpose: slapping on attachments such as the Short Barrel, Vertical Classic, and Green Laser turns this into a hip-fire laser machine. This build more than significantly increases its hip-fire accuracy enough to contend with SMGs in close quarters without sacrificing 25 damage and 900 RPM.
9. SGX Starter SMG

It's the starter SMG for a reason. Its high fire rate of 830 RPM, great damage of 25, fantastic recoil control and low bloom make it a supreme close quarters killer. It deserves a spot for being very accessible and consistently overpowered.
10. L-110 (LMG)

The starting LMG is more of an honorable mention, as it's been a very reliable, approachable beast. With great recoil control, decent bullet velocity, and the option to equip bipods, this would make for an extremely effective and steady choice for suppression and sustained fire right from the word go.
We hunker in and get these weapons tested hard, so we can identify the very best for multiplayer use. As the meta changes, this list might shift with it, but right now, time in these underutilized firearms is some of the best you could spend. Did we overlook your favorite sleeper weapon?
