Choosing the Champion: the BEST Extractor In Dandys World
The debut of Gordy, our newest main character (or "toon"), has caused controversy regarding who is really the BEST Extractor In Dandys World. As a Holiday Toon, Gordy has a special stat distribution that makes him an extraction king from the very beginning. His base stats include:
Skill Check: 5
Movement Speed: 5
Stamina: 1
Stealth: 1
Extraction: 5 Stars (Maximum)

Gordy is undoubtedly fast and has unmatched extraction ability. This comes at the expense of his low Stealth and low Stamina. Good playstyle with Gordy includes a tactical playstyle that exploits his speed and navigates around the high risk of his low concealment stat. Movement Speed Prioritization for Extraction Dominance
The optimal way of utilizing Gordy's specialist stats is to make use of his increased Movement Speed. Getting to the machines in the most distant areas of the map as early as possible is his primary task.
Tactical Map Control with High Speed
Early Advantage: The speed allows you to reach the distant machines first, initiating the extraction process immediately.
Team Support: This is particularly helpful for slower teammates who need to save their Panic Mode runs for further machines from the elevator or for emergencies.
Prioritize Far Machines: Best practice is to always leave the closer machines to the elevator for slower or higher-Stealth toons.
Constant Vigilance: Due to his extremely low Stealth, Gordy attracts "Twisted" enemies like bees to honey when extracting. You must be hyper-vigilant and constantly sweep your surroundings for threats.
Trinket and Ability Synergy for Extraction Success
Gordy's low Stealth can be a hindrance to extraction because Twisted enemies have a brief lock-on range. His Trick or Treat special ability and the correct choice of trinkets are the way around this vulnerability.
The Trick or Treat skill is best utilized just as the elevator is ready to open. The skill provides teammates with a random bonus, either a Movement Speed, Stamina, or Stealth buff. A successful Stealth bonus can effectively eliminate the extraction team's worst weakness for a short time.
The following trinket sets are highly recommended for optimizing Gordy as an extractor:
Extraction & Skill Check Focus:
Participation Award: Paired with a Magnifying Glass. Gordy's base Skill Check (5), which is already high, is boosted even more, making it easier to hit those pesky golden Skill Checks that are so important for maximum extraction speed and success.
Or, use a Moat paired with a Magnifying Glass if a defensive buffer versus the ever-present risk of the Twisted is wanted.
Pure Extraction & Safety:
Dog Leash: Paired with Running Shoes. This classic setup is all about ensuring extraction success and getting a quick escape, making Gordy a dedicated extraction specialist for the team.
Gordy's Versatility: Extractor, Distractor, or Savior?
While Gordy's high Extraction stat instantly makes him the BEST Extractor In Dandys World when used correctly, his stats also allow for versatile team roles.
The Savior Role: Gordy can very effectively play the role of a "savior." If a Twisted enemy spots a teammate extracting, Gordy's speed allows him to rush in quickly, pull the Twisted, and thus save the extracting player.
The Distractor: Since he has low Stealth, he can intentionally distract the Twisted away from the extraction point. If a teammate is extracting and Gordy enters the zone, he will distract the Twisted's attention.
Important Caveat to Dual-Role Play:
It is critical that Gordy stays away from the primary extractor. His low Stealth can disrupt the extraction stream of teammates with higher Stealth, as Gordy's close proximity to them basically nullifies their concealment advantage. If the machine is right next to the extractor, it is better to wait for another teammate with higher Stealth to cover those specific machines.
Gordy's Position in High-Level Organized Runs
Surprisingly, despite the fact that Gordy is such a powerful and explosive toon, he is not a high-priority selection for high-level organized runs (i.e., those aiming for floor goals above 100+).
Lack of Prioritization: In runs where absolute efficiency and consistent safety are the greatest priorities, toons with greater baseline Stealth are generally favored.
The Low-Stealth Risk: His extremely low Stealth (1) is considered too risky for teams attempting to achieve massive floor goals where a single misstep can destroy the entire run.
In total, Gordy is an incredibly intriguing and highly dynamic character whose playability is limited only by player skill and tactical play. He is an all-rounder who needs careful control of his low Stealth, but he rewards players with exceptional speed and extraction capabilities. What do you think? Is he the BEST Extractor in Dandys World?
