Think Monster Hunter is all about slicing up beasts and grinding for rare drops? Well, yeah—but that’s not all it is. Capcom likes to sneak in some fun, silly stuff between all the monster-slaying madness, and Barrel Bowling is the latest goofy gem in Monster Hunter Wilds, thanks to Title Update 1.

This explosive minigame mixes bowling with boom barrels in the Grand Hub, and trust us—it’s addictive. Whether you're in it for the loot or just wanna blow things up in style, here’s everything you need to know to roll like a champ.
Where to Find Barrel Bowling

First things first—head to the Grand Hub, which gets unlocked after Title Update 1. Once you're in, look for Rolie and his totally awesome bowling setup on the far right side of the map.
Once you've been there once, you'll unlock fast travel straight to the minigame station. Handy for quick practice or daily reward runs.

How Barrel Bowling Works (Yep, It’s Wild)
Barrel Bowling plays kinda like regular bowling, but with Monster Hunter chaos. You get two rolls, and instead of bowling balls, you’re chucking explosive barrels. Yeah—boom.
Here’s the twist: there are up to 60 pins, and they’re not all equal.
🪵 Small pins = 2 points
🪵 Medium pins = 20 points
🪵 Big ol' pin = 200 points (this one’s the MVP)

Each throw ends with a barrel explosion, so smart placement = higher score.
If you score 500+ points, you get an A rank and unlock the shiny Barrel Bowling Trophy pendant. First-timers get the Barrel Bowling Strap pendant just for playing.
Wanna play? You’ll need a Barrel Bowling voucher, which you can get via:
Daily log-in bonuses
Villager trades
Support Ship missions
No voucher? No worries—you can still bowl for fun (but no rewards, sadly).
💡 Pro Tips to Bowl Like a Beast

🎯 Target the 200-point pin first. It’s your best shot at stacking up points.
🧭 Use the orange arrows at the edge of the lane to line up your throws.
🥇 First roll: Stand on the second arrow from the left and aim between the two rocks. It’s a clean line to blast left-side pins + maybe hit the big one.
🎯 Second roll: Stand on the second arrow from the right and aim right at the 200-point pin (or its ghost if you already got it). Time to clean up.
It’s simple chaos with rewards—and a nice break from endless monster grinding.
