Hey fellow assassins! After clocking in 100+ hours in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, unlocking all skills, and diving deep into the endgame, I’ve picked up some insane tips and tricks that I wish I knew earlier. Whether you’re just starting out or knee-deep in Japan’s shadowy world, here are the best Assassin's Creed Shadows tips and tricks you need to try ASAP.
Quick Auto-Save Trick in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Want better control over where you respawn after dying? Just open your inventory, unequip an item, then equip it again. Boom—auto-save created. It even works in restricted zones!
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Tricks , Combat Pro Moves
When you land a perfect dodge, parry, or deflect, enemies enter a vulnerable state. Most people immediately go for the weak point strike. But wait! It’s smarter to get a few light or heavy hits in first (especially if your gear boosts damage vs. vulnerable enemies) and then hit that weak point. More damage, more adrenaline. Thank me later.

⚠️ Tip: The vulnerable glow may vanish after some heavy attacks, but enemies are still vulnerable. So yeah—still go in for the finisher!
Shadow Piercer = Boss Melter

Pair Shadow Piercer with the Snowy Fury perk and Warrior’s Garden weapon. You'll make enemies vulnerable, hit 'em hard, and reset your adrenaline bar in no time. Rinse and repeat. It’s an absolute boss shredder.
Hidden Vendor Hack in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
There’s a secret itinerant vendor out in the wild—not marked at docks, just chilling in random spots each season. Get close, and the icon shows up. They sell gold (yep, that rare item to upgrade gear) and buy your resources at waaaay better prices than port traders.

Pro move: Sell your leftover crops here—one sale gave me 46,000 vs. 30,000 elsewhere!
Salvage Chest Trick
At your hideout, there’s a salvage chest. Its rewards depend on your scout count (max is 9) and hideout level. More scouts = better loot. And yes, even purple gear with boosted stats can show up.

Save-scum approved: Save before opening the chest. Don’t like what you got? Reload and try again. Get that god-roll gear.

Ground Strike Secrets
Ground strikes are OP… but timing is everything. If the enemy has armor left, your ground strike just breaks it—no damage to health. So, strip the armor first, then go for the ground attack.

đź’ˇ Bonus: Use the Nata for max ground strike damage. And yeah, the Lightning Kick ability knocks down multiple enemies. Clean up time!
