Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List, Best and Worst Weapons
In Phantom Blade Zero, you're dealing with 30 main weapons, and picking the right one for you can be tricky. Here I'm gonna drop the Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List with reasons why some of these weapons are better than others and what kind of performance they have. The criteria for this list are each weapon's speed and power, its special ability type, and how easy it is to use.

Tier B and C weapons
These are the weakest weapons in the Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List, but that doesn't mean they're useless—in certain situations they can be pretty handy:
- Juggernaut: Somewhat similar to Infernal Rouge, a two-handed weapon that hits hard.
- Scarlet Wraithblade: Plants Spider Lily flowers on the ground. Good for the first area, but loses its usefulness after that.
- Blazing Edge: A fire weapon.
- Sanguine Twin: A fast dual-blade weapon. It's really important to upgrade it to Shadowless Edge so it can show off its abilities.
- The Fanatic's Broken Blade: Drinking increases its attack length but lowers its damage, and upgrading can remove that damage drop.
- Tianxuan Bronze Sword: Increases Guard Break, but you Block easily and it takes away your Parry option.
- Wooden Sanguine: The first weapon you get. Only good for early-game Parry and Dodge challenges.
A Tier List in Phantom Blade Zero Weapon
This group of weapons in the Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List are good weapons, as long as they're in the hands of players who know how to use them right.
- Bonesaw: A heavy Bleed weapon that's great against Bosses. Slow but hits hard.
- Fiend Saws: After entering Fiend Form, you land continuous, unblockable attacks on enemies for 10 seconds, and after a Guard Break you can deal heavy damage.
- Freezing Chaos: This weapon can switch between Steel, Frost, and Chaos modes. I'd say it's an all-rounder, but using it takes some mastery.
- Outlaw Warblade: This weapon can restore your Heal through Lifesteal, but performing Sha-Chi moves drains your Heal.
- Parting Hooks: A great defensive weapon that can reflect enemy attacks in Guard Stance. The only issue is you need to know the enemy's attack patterns.
- White Serpent & Crimson Viper: Its ability works for both defense and attack. A blade spins around you that helps deflect enemy attacks and damages anyone trying to hit you.
- Jagged Steel: This weapon has a Bleed effect and works great up to the Village of Lu area, but after that it doesn't do much.
- Wild Oriole Sword: With Oriole Song, each hit can send out blade waves for up to ten seconds.
Note: The Wild Oriole Sword can be upgraded after you get it, but if you lose it partway through, its upgrade path is gone.
Tier S weapons in Phantom Blade Zero
These are the top weapons you can find in the game, and I suggest making them your goal from the start.
| Weapon | Why it's great |
|---|---|
| Baishan Stormswords | Its ability is wind and lightning, can paralyze enemies, and in its special state deals more damage for 20 seconds |
| Infernal Rouge | This is the upgraded version of Sanguine, and its Bloodline Awakening gives you a second life |
| Shadowless Edge | This weapon can create a shadow of you that doubles your damage |
| Aureate | Its ability creates golden swords that attack enemies on their own |
| Whiteshadow | Every hit you land gives some Chill, so after a few hits the enemy freezes |
Why is Baishan Stormswords the best weapon in the game?

With Baishan Stormswords, you can deal physical damage to enemies, and then lightning gets added on top. When the lightning and wind bars fill up, you enter Baishan's Blessing state and can deal more damage with storms and lightning for 20 seconds.
How do we get Infernal Rouge?

To get Infernal Rouge, you first gotta get the Sanguine weapon to level 5 and Soul Temper it. The full conditions for upgrading Sanguine to Infernal Rouge go through the Bastion of Mo mask. So I suggest you don't stop using Sanguine.
Final notes on this Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List
| Tier | Weapons |
|---|---|
| S | Baishan Stormswords, Infernal Rouge, Shadowless Edge, Aureate, Whiteshadow |
| A | Bonesaw, Fiend Saws, Freezing Chaos, Outlaw Warblade, Parting Hooks, White Serpent & Crimson Viper, Jagged Steel, Wild Oriole Sword |
| B | Juggernaut, Scarlet Wraithblade, Blazing Edge, Sanguine Twin, The Fanatic's Broken Blade |
| C | Tianxuan Bronze Sword, Wooden Sanguine |
In the end, considering the tips and abilities mentioned in this Phantom Blade Zero Weapon Tier List, I gotta say: if you're after power, use Baishan Stormswords. If defense matters more to you, go with Infernal Rouge. And if you want variety so your moves don't get repetitive, use Freezing Chaos. Of course, it's super important what combat style feels comfortable to you.
