Hey Helldivers! Let's talk about how to farm Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2. Super Credits are the most crucial currency in the game, needed for over 75% of in-game items—that's more than fifty weapons, thirty armor sets, eleven boosters, and nearly a hundred cosmetics like player cards, emotes, and skins. So it's no exaggeration to say that without Super Credits, you're missing out on a huge part of the experience.
The big question is, how do you find them efficiently without spending a single cent of real money?
Most players will tell you to pick a planet, hop into any mission up to difficulty level three, and just run around until you find Super Credits. While that's not terrible advice, we can do way better than that. This guide is broken into key parts: the most efficient method to farm Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2, why this method works, and a handy map glitch to help you locate those credits even faster.
The Best Method to Farm Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2
Here’s the upfront answer for maximum efficiency: Pick level one difficulty and drop into one of these three planet biomes—Desert Cliffs, Desert Dunes, or Scorched Moor. For your loadout, bring the Slowdown weapon, the Warp Pack (or Jetpack if you don’t have it), and a Laser Cannon. If you don’t have a Laser Cannon, an Anti-Material Rifle works too.
You might be thinking, "Cool story, but how do you know this works?" Well, over the past month, I’ve spent over 100 hours across 120+ missions specifically farming Super Credits. I’ve tested 15 different planets, encountered over 900 Points of Interest (POIs), and played on three different difficulty levels. Let’s get into the data.
Why Always Farm on Level 1 Difficulty?
When you look at mission map snapshots from a Super Earth planet, you’ll notice something interesting. On the left is a level one difficulty map, in the middle is level two, and on the right is level three. By using a map scale and splitting the terrain into squares and triangles, I measured the size of each map.
You’d intuitively think bigger maps mean more POIs, which means more Super Credits, right? Well, sort of. The number of POIs did increase with difficulty, but the frequency of Super Credits stayed about the same. My results after ten runs on each difficulty showed that level one actually gave me the same amount of Super Credits compared to level two and three, but level one took less time to complete—about six minutes per run, versus eight minutes for level two and ten for level three.
Higher difficulties mean longer run times because of bigger maps and more frequent enemy patrols, so there’s a greater chance of getting slowed down or dying. Sure, level two and three have allied outposts that reveal POI locations, but the increase in enemy bases and patrols just isn’t worth the extra time. For pure efficiency, always stick to level one.
The Best Planets to Farm Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2
With over 200 planets in the game, it wasn’t feasible to test each one to Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2. So the smart way is to test by biome. Each planet has a biome that determines its layout and environmental conditions. If you hover over a planet in the galactic map, you can see its biome type based on the pop-up picture. In total, there are currently seventeen biomes.
To find the best one, I used the same method as testing difficulty levels—I dropped into each biome five times, recorded the time it took to find all POIs, and counted the number of Super Credits I found. Here are the results: Desert Dunes, Scorched Moor, and Desert Cliffs are the top three biomes. You can average around 400 credits per hour on these. On the lower end, jungle and swamp biomes only average around 200 credits per hour. These planets are not worth your time—they’re hard to navigate and drain your stamina way too fast.
I do want to note that I wasn’t able to test every single biome—I’m missing two of them because the galactic map is always shifting. But for now, definitely target those three top planet biomes.
The Perfect Loadout for Farming
When you’re farming in Helldiver 2, your number one enemy is your stamina bar. So always bring light armor. If you’re a beginner, any light armor works. For more intermediate players, I recommend Medic Armor for its extra stamina and great insurance if you get injured. For boosters, always bring the Stamina Booster. You won’t be fighting much on level one, so you don’t need extra health or supplies. Plus, if you’re solo farming, you can call in a resupply anytime.
For your backpack slot, always bring a Warp Pack—especially if you’re farming alone. Out of all the POIs I visited, only three contain Super Credits: cargo containers, bunkers, and rescue points. Bunkers are special because you need two people to open them… unless you have a Warp Pack. Just crouch, go up to the door, and warp right in. Then do the same to get out. Super credits inside bunkers make up around 31% of the total. Without a Warp Pack, you’d either have to wait for someone to join or lose out on credits per hour.
A Jetpack or Supply Pack can work too—Jetpack lets you fly around and ignore patrols, and Supply Pack helps you keep your stamina up. But if you have a Warp Pack, don’t leave your Super Destroyer without it.
For heavy weapons, Laser Cannon and AMR are my top picks because they can open cargo containers without setting the ground on fire. Grenades sometimes blow up red canisters and cause fires, which will slow you down. Strafing Run is also a great stratagem pick because it cleans up patrols instantly, has a short cooldown, and high usage. If you see a patrol and don’t want to deal with them, just call in a Strafing Run and keep moving.
This is also a great time to test out stratagems you’ve always wanted to try—bring mines, airstrikes, or Tesla Towers and have fun with it.
Map Glitch to Find All POIs Instantly (Still Working!)
Here’s a really busted map glitch that was still working as of August 31st, 2025. It helps you instantly uncover all the POIs on the planet. Here’s how it works:
Jump into a level one mission and try to visit all the POIs you can.
Once you’re done, head back to your ship.
Quit out of the mission and travel to a different planet (I usually go outside the system).
Now, load back into your original planet and pick any level one mission.
Once you dive in, open your map and drag your cursor around—every POI will be revealed!
You don’t have to waste time running around blindly anymore. After you finish collecting all the loot, just return to your ship. You can stay on the planet, hop into another mission, and repeat. The glitch should stay as long as you don’t completely quit the game.
This bug will probably get patched one day, so use it while you can!
Final Tips to Farm Super Credit in HELLDIVERS 2
In all the maps I’ve seen, there’s never been a POI within 120 meters of the main objective or the extraction point. Don’t waste time checking around these areas—Points of Interest are usually further out, around the edges and corners of the map.
I want to end by saying: don’t take this grind too seriously. I’m being so for real right now—2,100 Super Credits cost $9.99. At best, with solo farming, you can get around 500 credits per hour. If we convert that to dollars per hour, that’s around $5 worth. Is grinding the most efficient way? Well, the most efficient way is to crack open your wallet. And honestly, that makes sense—it’s by design. Live service games require live service microtransactions. Arrowhead isn’t going to make Super Credits super easy to obtain.
So treat Super Credit farming like a palate cleanser between missions. Hop in, hop out, do a few runs, and admire the scenery. Don’t burn yourself out. The purpose of this guide is just to make sure your time isn’t completely wasted if you choose to farm.
