Stick with us as we check out all these details.

How does the Heat Meter system work on Scoria Reach island?
Let's start the FULL GUIDE To SCORIA REACH UPDATE In Fisch by getting to the island. Just turn on the island tags and then you can see the island on the map. After you enter the island, the first thing you'll notice is the Heat Meter that shows up on the right side. This is a meter that you don't want to fill up completely cause then you'll die. To stop that from happening, you need to come to this island with full gear.
What gear do we need to do stuff on SCORIA REACH island?
After getting to the Scoria Reach island, first you gotta go to the Merchant which is on the right side of the island and grab the gear you need from him.
Scoria Armor (75,000 coins): This armor protects you from heat and is a must-have for lava fishing
Volcanic Geo (special bait): This bait is used to catch Lava Clams, which you need to get pearls
Obsidian Bone (7,500 coins): A new fishing rod with special stats including 250% Preferred Luck, 180% Universal Luck, 55% Resilience and the Obsidian mutation (10%)
Daybreaker Rod (750,000 coins): Needs 50% Bestiary, with stats like 70% Lure Speed, 125% Luck, 25% Resilience, unlimited Max KG, +15% Progress Speed and +2 Disturbance
How do we get pearls?
One of the things we gotta do in the SCORIA REACH UPDATE In Fisch is collect pearls, and you need to get different types of them. To do this, use Volcanic Geo bait and catch Lava Clams. To be successful at catching these, definitely turn on your Fish Radar and find the different abundances spread around the island, cause that's where Lava Clams gather.
Scoria Mines in the SCORIA REACH UPDATE In Fisch
On the left side of the island entrance, there's an elevator that takes you down to the Scoria Mines. In here, there are these crabs called Dancing Crabs. If you give them the pearls you've caught, the crabs will mine Obsidian for you for 5 minutes and at the end, they'll give you different rewards. Some of the possible rewards include:
Infernal Fragment
Sulfur Fragment
Obsidian Fragment
Ash Gem
Cinder Crystal
Important note: There's also a hidden abundance in these mines where you can catch the Secret Crag Crab. You need Coal for bait, weather has to be Clear, time: Day, season: Summer.
Skeletal Leviathan: The update's main boss
Skeletal Leviathan is the strongest fish in SCORIA REACH UPDATE In Fisch, and unlike other bosses like Great White Shark, you can't actually see it in the environment. You can only tell it spawned through the Fish Radar.
Skeletal Leviathan spawn conditions:
Bait: Obsidian Bone
Weather: Windy
Time: Night
Season: Winter
Recommended rod: Daybreaker (with Hunt Focus)
This boss is way harder than previous ones and some people say it's tougher than Mythical Megalodon. While you're reeling it in, besides fighting the fish itself, you gotta watch your Heat Meter and if it gets too close to max, leave the volcano immediately.
Igneous Altar and Fragment system
After collecting all the pearls you need, you gotta go to the Igneous Altar which is on the right side of the island. This altar has six empty slots for pearls: four special Scoria Reach pearls and two regular ones (including Golden Pearl).
After placing all the pearls, you need to put three Fragments in specific spots:
Fragment locations:
Sulfur Fragment: In the lava pool across from the Merchant
Inferno Fragment: At the top of the mountain, next to the second pool
Obsidian Fragment: Inside a hole in the mountain wall
Getting the Igneous Rupture Rod
After placing all the Fragments and hitting 100% Bestiary, you can talk to the Scoria Guard and get the final quest. Then put on your Scoria Armor and use the Daybreaker Rod to fish in the volcano.
Igneous Rupture stats:
Lure Speed: 60%
Luck: 100%
Control: 0.3
Resilience: 85%
Max KG: Infinite
Progress Speed: +5%
Disturbance: +5
Hunt Focus: Skeletal Leviathan
Mutation: Igneous
This rod has a special ability where fire pillars shoot out of the ground while you're fishing, and it also gives you a better chance to get the Hexed Pearl. By following this step-by-step guide, you can successfully finish all the content in the Scoria Reach update.
