The BEST M277 Loadout in Battlefield 6 (Full and Budget Builds)
Is it possible to turn the M277 Carbine into a laser-beam powerhouse? Find the BEST M277 Loadout in Battlefield 6 Now!
The M277 Carbine is surprisingly one of the most powerful guns in Battlefield 6, and it unlocks relatively early. Most importantly, being a carbine, its usage doesn't rely on class-specific traits (unlike Assault Rifles, SMGs, LMGs, or Snipers). The weapon is essentially an upgraded variant of the M87A1, a recently fielded U.S. gun, and it performs amazingly well in the game. Once you use this weapon, and especially once you place the correct attachments on it, you'll feel the difference right away.

We've conducted extensive testing, including testing with different suppressors, brakes, barrels, and grips, to achieve the optimum mix of attachments. The results, and especially how grips and barrels affect recoil and bloom, may surprise you.
The Definitive BEST M277 Loadout in Battlefield 6 (Late Game)
This final loadout is spec'd out for raw precision and control so that you can laser-beam targets at close, medium, and even long range with precise tap-firing.

Core Attachments for Recoil Control
| Slot | Attachment Name | Rationale for Selection |
| Muzzle | Standard Suppressor (20 Points) | Suppressors are ridiculously effective in this game. Choose the Standard one as it is the least expensive one, saving precious points while still increasing your longevity in battle. |
| Barrel | Extended Barrel (15 Points) | Counter-Intuitive Pick: Although the Heavy Extended Barrel has a description that suggests better recoil control, testing shows the cheaper Extended Barrel actually provides noticeably easier vertical recoil control and faster ADS speed. Avoid the Heavy Extended trap. |
| Grip | Type-Stubby Grip (35 Points) | The angled and vertical grips tend to be poor on this gun. The pricey Type-Stubby Grip provides much improved overall recoil control, so it is a vital end-game unlock for the M277. |
| Magazine | 20 Round Fast Mag (15 Points) | Though the 25- and 30-round mags provide additional bullets, the compromise in point cost and recoil control is not worth it. This mag gives a significant reduction in reload time, which is extremely valuable in close combat. |
Utility and Sight Options

Ammo: Tungsten Core (Penetration) Ammo (10 Points)
This is highly recommended. The default ammo has somewhat better recoil, but the penetration potential allows you to shoot through light cover and hit multiple enemies (collateral kills) without slowing the M277's accuracy enough to make a difference.
Accessory: Mag Catch (5 Points)
This provides a small but noticeable reduction in reload time, pairing with the Fast Mag for extremely quick reloads.
Optic: Baker 3x (Personal Preference)
Although we prefer the Baker 3x for its clear sight picture at all ranges, this slot is entirely up to personal preference. Use the holographic, red dot, or variable sight that best suits your playstyle.
BEST M277 Loadout: The Budget Progression Build
In case you are leveling up the M277 still to have the expensive grips and barrels unlocked, you can use this budget variant.

Muzzle: Use the default Suppressor or the early-unlocked Single Port Brake. Brake: The Brake provides some underlying recoil benefit without costing too many points.
Barrel: Stick with the Basic Barrel until the Extended Barrel becomes available. Don't invest points in the Heavy Extended while leveling.
Grip: The Ribbed Vertical Grip provides decent vertical control early on. Use this during leveling up to the Type-Stubby Grip.
Magazine: The 20 Round Fast Magazine becomes available fairly early. Slap this on as soon as possible for the precious reload speed bonus.
Accessory: The Mag Catch also unlocks early and can be utilized to boost reload speed.
Laser: Level with the Green Laser. As the budget build frees up points, the Green Laser gives enormous hip-fire bonuses, enabling you to win CQC engagements and level up more quickly.
The M277 is a beast; don't sleep on it. It's one of the strongest weapons in the game, especially when you consider how early you can acquire it and use the BEST M277 Loadout in Battlefield 6.
