The Ultimate Dual Blades Bleed Build Guide in WHERE WINDS MEET

Published by Sara at November 19, 2025

Welcome back to the vibrant game world. I will describe my most successful DPS build at the moment in an elaborate feature. This is a build that I have been rigorously testing for a couple days. This build feels very powerful at the moment. The core synergy here, which forms the basis of this Dual Blades Bleed Build Guide in WHERE WINDS MEET, is with Infernal Twin Blades and Vernal Umbrella, which make for a remarkably potent combo that by the end of almost every engagement, I usually find myself right up at the top of the damage charts.

Very rarely does anyone else take me down, that's purely testament to the sheer efficiency of that particular pairing.

For this particular guide, we are focusing on the Dual Blades Bleed Build Guide in WHERE WINDS MEET. We rely on Infernal Twin Blades for the very reason that they are extremely fast, giving them the potential to achieve insane Crits and massive initial damage on perfect optimization.

Our strategy relies mainly on maximizing the Critical Hit Rate, optimizing the Minimum/Maximum Damage, and most importantly stacking massive amounts of Bleed effects. This would give us an excellent, sustained damage combo. Once our Twin Blade skills have cooled down, we switch seamlessly to the Vernal Umbrella, which acts as a 'stamina dump' that allows the Twin Blades' abilities to recharge while still providing pressure on the target. We maximize this synergy by utilizing several highly effective Inner Ways and Mystic skills.
My Own Analysis and Personal Experience: Early on, I was not able to find any build that would regularly stand its ground against the sheer AoE (Area of Effect) damage that Spear or Thunder Cry Blade users can do.

But as I started to truly understand how Twin Blades quickly get into attack mode, and how the Umbrella can always debuff and keep dealing piercing damage, the Bleed/Crit focus suddenly became very dominant. The high-risk, high-reward nature of getting right in there with the blades completely offsets by the enormous DOT bleed stacks. It's all execution: when to swap weapons to get the maximum uptime of both attack patterns.

To construct an extremely powerful setup, you require specific pieces of gear and the right Affix tuning. Remember that Affix tuning involves salvaging certain gear with modifiers to guarantee better (minimum Purple) rolls on your main equipment.

A. Weapon and Armor Set Breakdown

We use the following sets under our model to achieve maximum consistency with our damage output:

  • Weapon Set (Twin Blade Slot): The Sevenfold Will of Willow set. The primary reason is the consistent 12% Attack Damage buff for 10 seconds after any light, heavy, air, or charged attacks. Unlike other highly conditional sets that might require you to dodge enemies or avoid certain attacks, this one simply requires you to be attacking, which is exactly what the Twin Blades excel at.

  • Set Armor: The Beyond the Chill set. It provides excellent survivability through HP and physical damage mitigation bonuses. Given that the Twin Blades require melee range and the Umbrella sometimes requires aerial maneuvers, this extra HP and defense reduction resistance are incredibly valuable.

Integral Inner Ways for Damage Synergy

Inner Ways are the engine to build this bleed, creating the strong synergies with fast Twin Blades and rapid Umbrella firing.

  • 1. Fivefold Bleed (Core Bleed Engine)

    • Effect: It grants the chance to apply a stack of Weeping Bleed (stacks up to 5). Upon reaching the fifth stack, it applies Weeping Blood, removes the stacks, and grants a one-time Empowered Piercing Damage boost.

    • Synergy: Works perfectly with the Umbrella's high rate of fire, setting up huge piercing damage bursts, especially when the breakthrough (500% piercing damage increase) is open.

    • Acquisition: Complete the Monk's mission at Imperial Temple; find and assist his three disciples' marked on the map.

  • 2. Morale Chant (Core Damage Buff)

    • Effect: 80% chance of getting a stack of Ye River, in which Physical Damage and Healing increase by 1% per stack (max 5 stacks).

    • Acquisition: Purchase at cost of 5,000 currency (Guardian Echo Jade) from the vendor named Tang Bao at Blissful Retreat location.

  • 3. Echoes of Oblivion (Physical Penetration)

    • Effect: Twin Blade light attacks apply Sent debuff, and Umbrella light attacks apply Karma, respectively. Hitting targets with these increments ignored Physical Defense or Bamboo Cut Resistance, respectively.

    • Acquisition: Free reward upon finishing the main Blissful Retreat mission, "For Whom Does He Return."

  • 4. Blossom Barrage (Ballistic Damage Setup)

    • Effect: It adds a charge for the Nine Fold Umbrella Martial Skills (Spring Sorrow). Using this applies an effect based on which skill increases your Ballistic skills damage by 10% for 8 seconds.

    • Synergy: Perfect set up with the Umbrella killer aerial skills (Spring Away) so that jump attack receives +10% damage increase permanently. This is easily maintained due to the frequent weapon swaps on the rotation.

    • Acquisition: The main story progression in the Chi Fang region (a fireworks mission).

Mystic Arts: An AoE-Single Target Focus

As Inner Ways keep up their DPS over time, Mystic Arts offer important burst and AoE clearing, which this Dual Blades Bleed Build Guide in WHERE WINDS MEET needs as it is more single-target centered.

  • Wolflike Frenzy: A good area-control skill that will be needed to take care of bigger groups of minor foes; this build suffers from early AoEs. It is located in a hidden treasure chest inside a cave behind the main gate of Underground Go City.

  • Dragon's Breath: Pretty much one of the better pure single-target DPS skills out there, it just sets the enemies in front of you on fire. Obtained after completing a short quest for an NPC found at Fury Grounds, who then asks you to fetch a travelogue from a house near the South Gate.

  • Cloud Step & Guardian Palm (AoE Combo): Cloud Step is normally obtained early in the game. It just serves as preparation for Guardian Palm. Chaining Cloud Step immediately into Guardian Palm will let you initiate a slam attack with a 500% damage increase, perfect for massive AoE clearance. The Guardian Palm ability itself is obtained by completing a long quest at Thousand Buddha's Web.

The rest of the Mystic Arts slots become free for customization, though skills that prioritize basic AoE or utility skills such as Stealth/Touch of Stillness take priority to balance the build.
