ARC Raiders Guides Hub
Arc Raider guides: Starting the game
The management hub for everything in Arc Raider is a Prensa, where you prepare yourself for going outside, craft items, buy and sell stuff, get your missions, and upgrade your skill tree.
When gearing up, definitely keep these things in mind:
- Definitely use a Shield to be less vulnerable.
- Take at least one weapon with enough ammo.
- Don't forget Bandages.
- Shield Rechargers.
- Definitely bring a few grenades with you.
Using Workshops in Arc Raider
Workshops play a big role throughout the game. Through them, you can craft different items. If you've played games like Escape from Tarkov, you're familiar with how they work. Here, each Workshop produces specific items for you, including weapons, consumables, tools, and other stuff. By upgrading these Workshops in Arc Raider, you can craft newer and stronger items.
The role of Traders in Arc Raider
You can buy all kinds of items from Traders. Some you can use directly, and others you use to craft tools and weapons. You can also get various missions from Traders, complete them, and turn them in for rewards.
Skill tree
One of the most important things to learn about in these Arc Raider guides is the skill tree. There, you can upgrade your abilities, like increasing your carry weight or increasing your backpack slots. You should do this based on your playstyle to get the best results. For more info and guidance, I suggest checking out ARC Raiders Skill Tree: Best Build Guide.
You get skill points by leveling up, which you can use to upgrade your skill tree in one of three branches:
- Conditioning: Improves stamina and mobility.
- Mobility: Increases speed and agility.
- Survival: Increases survivability and resistance.
Arc Raider gameplay
The system is simple: enter the challenging world, fight robots and other players, loot various items, and extract from the environment.
Entering the game world
You can spawn anywhere, but your goal depends on your mission or what item you're after. Mostly, you'll be killing enemies or getting specific items.
Extraction
When you're done, you gotta head to one of the Extraction points marked on the map. You need to wait a few seconds there for the extraction process to finish. One thing to keep in mind: other players can always ambush you at these spots, so be careful.
Some Extraction points are only active for a limited time, so you gotta get there within that window. You can also use Raider Hatches for this, but you gotta buy the key from Traders.
Enemy types in Arc Raider
Next up in this Arc Raider guide, I'm introducing the enemies you'll face.
| Enemy Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Wasp | Fly-like and fast – weak but dangerous in groups |
| Tick | Small spider-like – jumps and clings to you |
| Rocketeer | Flying and rocket-launching – very heavy damage |
| Fireball | Rolls toward you and explodes the area |
| Snitch | Moves at high altitude and reveals your position |
| Horn | Temporarily disables your weapons |
| Turret | Stationary with limited view – dangerous if you're careless |
| Leaper | Four-legged with long, dangerous jumps |
| Queen | Giant spider – protects the Harvester, very tough with high-level loot |
Weapon and ammo types
You'll face a wide range of weapons and ammo, from pistols to heavy weapons. Some are good for PVP and taking out other players, while others work better against robots.
Ammo is divided into four main types: Light, Medium, Heavy, and Shock.
Also, each weapon has Attachment Slots that let you upgrade its performance by attaching parts.
Important golden tips in this Arc Raider guide
- Ammo and charges are never enough and always run low.
- Don't underestimate any enemy, even the ones that look weak.
- Clear the area of enemies before you start looting.
- Sound is super important. After a fight, be sure someone or something heard you, so definitely move.
- Definitely use your Safe Pocket to keep your most valuable items.
- Don't be greedy. It's better to extract with fewer items than to lose everything.
