to get Bourgeon Skin in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 First things first — you’re gonna need to defeat a Bourgeon.
Head over to the Flying Waters region and fast travel to the Lumiere Street flag (you'll recognize it from the main story missions).
Once you land:
Don't wander into the wrecked building area!
Instead, head the opposite way — between two standing buildings.
Follow the stone path until you see a streetlight and some giant seaweed.
Slip through the seaweed, and boom — your Bourgeon target is waiting.
Good news? You don't have to take down this exact Bourgeon — any Bourgeon you find in the world will drop the skin you need!
Tips For Fighting A Bourgeon (And Not Getting Eaten)
Bourgeons might look terrifying, but honestly? They’re pretty chill once you learn their moves:
Slam Attacks: Big, slow swings. Easy to dodge once you get the rhythm.
Projectile Spits: Gross but manageable. Sidestep those!
Eating Attack: It swallows a party member! Don’t panic — it just removes them for a bit (no permanent damage).
Pro Tip: Bourgeons are weak to Lightning!
Bust out Gustave’s Overcharge ability or equip your best lightning weapons to shred their health bar faster.

After you squash the Bourgeon and collect the skin, head back east of Flying Waters to the Small Bourgeon area.
