With this setup, we melted Z Rex in about a minute per phaseâfastest was the second phase at under a minute! The crossbowâs damage is nuts (hitting 24K+ shots), and the Chopper Gunner cleans up the rest. This strat is so broken, I donât think thereâs a better way to do it⊠at least until it gets patched!
How to Use the Crossbow and Gobble Gums Against Z Rex
Hereâs the step-by-step on how to use this meta setup:
- Phase 1: One player pops Free Fire, another uses Chopper Gunner. The third player (me, in this case) supports by taking out zombies with a Mark 2 (optionalâuse whatever youâve got). Z Rexâs health melts fast!
- Phase 2: Same dealâone Free Fire, one Chopper Gunner. This was our fastest phase, done in under a minute. His health bar was goneâweâre talking chest-melting speed!
- Phase 3: I popped my Chopper Gunner here, paired with a teammateâs Free Fire and Ether Shroud. We finished this phase in under a minute again. Then, I whipped out the crossbow, hitting for 24K, 11K, and 5K shotsâabsolutely ridiculous damage!
- Final Phase: Time your Free Fire a few seconds early (it lasts long enough), then pop the crossbow as Z Rex hops down. We used Idolize Gobble Gum to counter his speed, and paired it with a final Chopper Gunner to breeze through. This phase took us just 15-20 seconds!
