Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Unveils All Multiplayer Maps and Modes for Launch

As the release date approaches, Activision and Treyarch have officially revealed the complete list of multiplayer maps and modes that will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25. Players can expect a mix of fresh content alongside returning fan-favorite modes like Gunfight and Kill Confirmed.

Throughout August and September, fans got a taste of what's to come during the early access and open betas. The betas only featured eight maps and a limited selection of weapons, gear, and Wildcards. Now, with the full launch imminent, the developers have shared all the multiplayer content that will be available on day one.

At launch, Black Ops 6 will offer 16 multiplayer maps, including Babylon, Derelict, Lowtown, Payback, Protocol, Redcard, Rewind, Scud, Skyline, Subsonic, Vault, and Vorkuta for 6v6 modes. Additionally, Nuketown will be unlocked a week later on November 1. Four smaller Strike maps—Gala, Pit, Stakeout, and Warhead—will support 2v2 and 6v6 modes, focusing on tight, close-quarters combat. More detailed map information will be released on October 23, just before launch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Maps and Modes

Players will have a variety of 6v6 game modes available, such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Headquarters, Kill Order, and Control. Free-For-All and Gunfight will also feature as 8-player and 2v2 modes, respectively. Additionally, Face Off variations of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Order, and Kill Confirmed will be available, alongside Hardcore versions of most 6v6 modes. Players can also access the returning Firing Range mode, Private Matches, Theater Mode (not available on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One), and a Training Course.

As more content arrives during the preseason and Season 1, additional maps and modes, including Nuketown, will be introduced. Although it's unclear whether large-scale modes like Ground War will return, Black Ops 6 primarily features small to medium-sized three-lane maps, suggesting any future inclusion of Ground War would likely come with new maps designed for it.
