EA Games is shutting down seven games today, marking another round of server closures. These shutdowns often happen every few months, with fans getting advance notice before the servers go dark.

EA has already taken two games offline in 2025. Rory McIlroy PGA Tour was shut down on January 16, limiting golf game options on modern platforms. Then, on January 24, EA pulled the plug on The Simpsons: Tapped Out, a once-popular mobile game. Many fans protested the decision, even starting petitions to keep the game online, but EA stuck to its schedule.

EA is likely to announce even more shutdowns later in 2025, so if you’re a fan of an older EA title, keep an eye out—your favorite game might be next.
